Canada Day is one of my favourite Enderby holidays. We might be a small town but we celebrate big! As long as I can remember we have participated in Canada Day festivities. We begin the morning with a pancake breakfast at the ball park served by the Lion's club, then we walk down to Richard and Rachel's house to watch the parade, and then head down to Barne's park to take part in the games and have a piece of the giant birthday cake. Our church runs the games in the park and our pastor does an amazing job of organizing it all! It is such a neat way to be involved in the community and to show that we care about our community. This year I had so much fun getting the kids' outfits together and doing their hair, everyone of us had something Canadian to wear. We had lots of fun this year, and realised that these types of functions are slowly beginning to get a little bit easier, as the youngest child was a year and a half instead of having a year and a half year old plus a newborn!
